This is a 6 week, live online bootcamp designed for adults who want to start playing real music on the acoustic guitar - fast.
You’ll follow the exact process that’s helped countless students go from “total beginner” to confident player - without needing to read sheet music, memorize theory, or waste hours on complicated apps.
And best of all, it's potentially free.
Here’s my simple promise:
If you show up to every class, and do all the homework I tell you to do (I timed it, it takes 15 minutes a day), then I will give you all your money back.
But why would I be willing to do this?
What's The Catch?
In order to start the boot camp, you're going to have to pay $800 US dollars. But, if you show up to all the classes LIVE, and do all the homework I tell you to do (about 15 minutes a day), then you will get a full and complete refund at the end of the 6 weeks.
So best case scenario, you get all of your money back at the end, AND you learn how to play classical guitar!
There are three reasons I'm doing this that mean more to me and my business than anything monetary:
- If you are a happy student, and you've gotten the result, then you're probably going to want to give me a testimonial case study video. That's not required - I'm just expecting that if I help you get that amazing result, you're going to want to help me out with that.
- I'm going to record these live sessions, and have those live recordings saved to include as a bonus with my course when it comes out. So, if you're afraid of being on camera, and don't want to be included in that, then maybe this isn't for you. And,
- I'm always looking to get better! I'm very confident in my teaching method and being able to get people results, but before I record the next version of my course, I want to make sure it's the best it can be, so I want to test it on a group of 6 people, and that's where you come in.
I'm asking you to pay for the course up front, so that you are invested in showing up and doing the work, and then I'm going to incentivize you even further by giving you back 100% of your money if you do the work.

Please note: In order to apply, you'll be required to submit a $100 US dollar deposit, so that I know your application is serious. Within 24 hours of making a decision, I'll refund this deposit to you.
When are the meetings? Are they recorded?
We will begin the first week of February. We are going to meet LIVE twice a week. When we meet is going to be decided based on what works best for everyone. During the application process, you'll be able to indicate the times that work best for you.
We will record the sessions but please make it a priority to attend as many as you can.

Meet Troy 👋🏻
Troy Serson is an online guitar teacher from Victoria, Canada.
Over the past 13 years, his stress free, student led approach has helped thousands of students as young as 3 to confidently express themselves through the guitar.
Troy studied Classical Guitar at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and holds Level 9 from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Outside of the formal space, he played in a band for 6 years, and years ago, opened for his favourite band on one of their western Canada tours.
